Women’s Coaching Vacancies - Various Roles Available

Christchurch United Football Club are seeking expressions of interest for various female coaching roles within our Womens Premier League squad, Womens Academy and Football in Schools programme for 2023.

Christchurch United Womens first team won the 2022 New World Championship and are looking to gain entry into the Womens Premier League, paving the way for female coaches to be part of an exciting setup. Working with our Director of Football Paul Ifill, the coaches will have a coaching education pathway and will have the chance to connect with the local footballing community.

The ideal candidates may hold current license qualifications or are willing to attend future courses and legally eligible to work in NZ.

SELWYN UNITED FC

U20 MEN'S/SOUTHERN LEAGUE RESERVES COACH 

Selwyn United are looking for expressions of interest for a coach to lead our Men’s Reserve team in the Mainland Division 1 competition for the 2023 season.

The Reserves is a key part of the Selwyn United player pathway, being the bridge between Youth and First Team football. Anyone interested would need to have a desire to continue the development of the group, while maintaining the team’s position within Division 1.  

Selwyn United would look for a head coach who can work with other coaches across the club, especially the First Team coaching team and the 17th Grade Colts team coaches.

Coach Qualification Requirements: C Licence (minimum)

NEW WORLD CANTERBURY MEN'S PREMIER LEAGUE

HEAD COACH

Cashmere Technical FC are looking for a coach to lead their very talented and hard-working Men’s Reserve Team in the New World Canterbury Premier League in 2023.

Having been promoted from the Canterbury Men’s Division 1 during the 2022 season, CTFC is looking for a new coach to continue the great work and progress that this group has shown over the past couple of seasons.

CTFC are looking for a head coach who can work well with other coaches in the club including First Team Head Coach & Assistant Coaches and U17 Academy Coaches. The coach will have a passion for developing players and helping our Reserve players to reach their maximum potential.

The CTFC Reserve team feeds directly into the current Cashmere Technical FC First team that plays in the New Zealand Men’s National League so many of the players within the Reserve team will develop and grow into National League players with the right coach.

Interested candidates must hold a current C-Licence as a minimum.

EAST CHRISTCHURCH FC

CANTERBURY DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE HEAD COACHES U13-U17

Burwood AFC, Coastal Spirit FC, Ferrymead Bays FC, Parklands United Sports Club, St Albans Shirley FC and Western AFC are excited to announce a major step forward in the establishment of a new entity for the East Christchurch football community.

The six clubs have considered a collaborative way forward for our Junior and Youth players through the formation of a new organisation on the east side of the city, in the form of new, centralised Youth Talent Development Programme and Skill Centre Development Programme, with the aim of providing the best possible football pathway for our aspiring young footballers.


Due to this new initiative, we are looking for CDL head coaches in U13, U14, U15 and U17 grades:
